RUDOLF RAFFLENBEUL STAHLWARENFABRIK GMBH & CO. commissioned the Technical University of Cologne to test the locking effects of its washers sold under the LOCKTIX® brand. The vibration tests were conducted under the specifications of draft standard (E) DIN 25201-4: 2010-03, Annex B, on a testing device in compliance with DIN 65151.
The tests performed in combinations with
demonstrated that the LOCKTIX® washers with zinc/nickel anodization coating, thin layer passivized and sealed, meet the requirements of DIN 25201-4.
Based on the quantitative test result, the securing effect of the tested LOCKTIX® washers in these combinations was rated as fully effective.
The tests were conducted under standardized conditions on a norm-compliant test console under standardized test conditions to ensure comparability. The results cannot be directly transferred to individual installation conditions. Hence, users of the tested locking washers or of the results, still have to conduct tests to ensure the usability of the described locking elements in concrete applications. Neither the manufacturer of the locking washers nor the test evaluator are in a position to assume any legal responsibility or any liability for the results.
